The key goals were to modernize the brand, maintain its long heritage, and re-energize consumers. This set the stage for ongoing expansion and renovation across all product lines – all in a way that felt organized and shopper friendly. WFM doubled down on the brand’s core assets that prominently featured their iconic chunky logo and star mark. The bold color palette and a new dramatically angled graphic element focuses consumer attention to key information, clearly distinguishing their product offerings.

A cohesive and consistent color versioning system brought a previously fractured lineup into a compelling and clearly shoppable family of products. Optimization of the bread bag ends came to the forefront as a key priority in the way consumers identify product variations. The recently launched design system helps the brand bring joy to a wider audience in a bold yet familiar way.
